Dark circles.

DARK CIRCLES also called 'eye circles', are blemishes around or under the eyes. Dark circles under your eyes generally implies that the darkening is primarily below both eyes. This is different from bruising caused by trauma or redness and swelling caused by infection around only one eye.

Dark circles under the eyes are a common complaint of both men and women, although they can occasionally be seen in children. As people age, the skin becomes thinner and collagen is lost, sometimes enhancing the appearance of blood vessels beneath the eyes and making the area appear darker.
Dark circles are a result of thin layer of skin below your eyes showing the blood vessels and the blood they contain more clearly than anywhere else on your body.

REASONS FOR DARK CIRCLES

1. If we do more work for a long period of time without proper break and rest it causes dark circles.
2.If a person is not able to sleep properly .Then he may get dark circle. A person should sleep at least for 8 hours daily.
3.If we use computer laptop or mobile phone for a long period of time then also we may get dark circles.
4.Dark circles also becomes when we take a lot of stress
5.Using a large amount of cosmetic creams may also result in dark circles.
6.Due to consumption of alcohol and other drugs and smoking, the dark circles may take place.


WAYS TO REMOVE DARK CIRCLES

A) TIPS ACCORDING TO DEFICIENCIES AND DISEASES

1)CHECK FOR FOOD INTOLERANCE :-food intolerance is difficulty digesting certain foods and having an unpleasant physical reaction to them.They can cause less severe reactions such as inflammation under the eyes. So a simple way to prevent food intolerance is don't eat those things in which you have to face difficulty for digestion.

2) IRON AND B12 STATUS :-Another common cause of dark circle is low iron and Vitamin B12. The deficiency can result in poor oxygenation to bodily tissues and the effects of this are shown mostly under the eyes where pronounced,bluish veins are more visible.
3) CHECK YOUR THYROID :- If your eyes are puffy and you experience the lack of concentration, difficulty in loosing weight, hair loss and unwaveing fatigue, you may check if your thyroid is at healthy level. Patients with low thyroid have puffy eyelids.
4)BEAUTIFY WITH VITAMIN K:- Vitamin K helps with blood cogulation and circulation.Since poor circulation can increase the appearance of dark circles. So if we consume efficient vitamin K friendly food it may lighten the dark circles. Due to this reason various eye creams contains vitamin K and vitamin A. For getting vitamin K you can consume broccoli, Brussels sprouts, green leafy vegetables and spinach.

B) HOME REMEDIES 

1) USE MINT LEAVES :- Mint can be used to remove the ugly dark circles.Mint when applied near eye area causes a tingling sensation which increases blood flow to the area and can help dark circles fade away.
How to apply :- Just crush few leaves of mint with water forming a paste. Add 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric to the juice.Apply on dark circles and leave it for 10 minutes.Wash with cold water after 10 minutes.Do this every night for a week. You will notice a lot of difference.

2) USE TOMATO :- Using tomato is one of the best method to remove dark circles.It is one of the best method to remove dark circles. Tomato also helps to keep the skin soft and fresh. To get results rapidly mix tomato juice with some drops of lemon. Then apply it on dark circles. You will definitely   get results.

3) USE POTATO :- You can also use potato to remove dark circles. Mix potato juice with some drops of lemon and apply it on dark circles. This process will help you.

4) USING GREEN TEA BAGS :- The caffeine in green tea has a positive effect on puffy, swollen eyes and can help to keep skin taut. Caffeine constricts the blood vessels within sensitive tissue. This aids in reducing puffiness and inflammation.
How to use:- Take two tea bags and boil them in 2 cups of water for 10 minutes. Then after that keep them in refrigerator for one and half hour. Then keep them on your eyes for 15 minutes . Apply it 2 times a day for a week.

5) USING ALMOND OIL :-  Almond oil contains a lot of vitamin A which is very helpful for the delicate area under the eyes. 
How to use :- Take almond oil in your hands . Apply it softly under your yes. Massage it softly and leave  it for whole night.

6)USE COCONUT OIL :- You can massage the area under the eyes with coconut oil. It will moisturize them properly and will help to remove dark circles.
How to use :- Massage the area under eye with coconut oil with soft hands and leave it for night. Then wash your face with warm water. Apply it for a week to see positive results.

7)USE CUCUMBER (KHEERA) :- Cucumber has some properties like it is an astringent, it helps in skin lightning and cooling. Hence it helps in removing dark circles. 
How to apply :- Cut cucumber into slices and keep them in refrigerator. After some time take slices and keep two slices on your both eyes.Keep those slices on your eyes for 15 minutes. Apply it daily 2 times.

8)USE ROSEWATER :- Rose water helps to make skin white and healthy.
It is a good antioxidant which makes skin cell stronger. It makes skin look younger.
How to apply :- Take cotton balls dip them into rose water and apply them below your eyes.keep it for 15 minutes. Then rinse it with luke warm water.Apply this process for a week. You yourself will feel the difference.
